Is Swipely free?
Yes. Swipely is free to download. You can swipe through your library, scan for duplicates and do your first cleanup at no cost. Swipely Pro unlocks unlimited cleanups, bulk duplicate removal and video compression.
Are deleted photos gone forever?
Not right away. Photos you delete with Swipely move to the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, where they stay for 30 days. You can recover them there, or empty the album to free up the space immediately.
Does Swipely upload my photos?
No. Everything, including duplicate detection, happens on your iPhone using Apple’s Vision framework. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, and you don’t need an account.
How does Swipely find duplicate and similar photos?
Swipely compares a visual fingerprint of each photo to find exact duplicates and near-identical shots, such as bursts and repeated selfies. It pre-selects the best version based on resolution and file size, so you can clear the rest in one tap.
Can I compress videos without losing quality?
You choose the balance. High keeps the most detail, Medium balances size and quality, and Low saves the most space — up to 80%. Swipely shows the estimated savings before you start, and you can keep both versions.
Does Swipely work with iCloud Photos?
Yes. Swipely works with your entire Photos library, including items stored in iCloud. If iCloud Photos is turned on, deletions sync across your Apple devices.
Which devices and languages are supported?
Swipely runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later. It’s available in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Turkish.
Why does Swipely ask for full photo access?
iOS only lets apps delete the photos they can see. With full access, Swipely can review your whole library. Limited access works too, but only for the photos you choose to share.
How do I cancel Swipely Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Swipely. You can cancel anytime.
